The Economic Crisis

I know that many people today are hurting in their pocketbooks, they have been laid off and are wondering how to get food on the table. The first thing you need to do is give thanks. Bow your head, close your eyes and pray. The Lord delivers us not only from our enemies but also from ourselves - and right now - we are scared. We are afraid of how to make the next house payment, we are afraid of how to pay the dental bill, we are afraid of what to do if someone gets sick or the car breakes down. I am not saying that these things wil not happen - maybe even worse things besides. What I am saying is that we have each other. And when it comes down to it. Each other is enough. That's what the church is for - each other.
